Application Modeling and Generation

These online self-training courses refer to Blu Age Forward product and deal with Object Oriented applications development and maintenance with a Model Driven Architecture (MDA). This training course is comprised of videos that will focus on the key concepts of application development with Blu Age, and you will use a virtual machine that is located on the cloud for your hands-on practice.

Generating Web screens application

The purpose of this training is to learn how to model and generate Web screens applications using Blu Age. During this training, you will get familiar with Blu Age Forward environment by building an enterprise application step-by-step. You will define/create the Platform Independent Model - PIM - of a business application, then perform application's generations.

Objectives

  • Learning how to model a web screens application in order to generate it with the Blu Age Forward generator;
  • Improving the knowledge of UML through hands-on labs leading to the application's generation;
  • Understanding and learning the Blu Age Methodology.

Requirements

This course targets consultants, architects, and developers that have hands-on experience in Java development, a basic knowledge of UML 2.X and HTML, and a developer level on Eclipse (at least 6 months experience).

Generating Batch with Blu Age

The purpose of this training course is to learn how to model and generate batches using Blu Age. It can be taken independently or as part of Procedural Application Modernization, Screens & Batch training path.

Objectives

  • Learning how to model a batch application in order to generate it with the Blu Age Forward generator.
  • Understanding and practicing batch modeling with Blu Age;

The purpose of this training is to learn how to model and generate rich client applications using Blu Age. During this training, you will get familiar with Blu Age Forward environment by building an enterprise application step-by-step.
